                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR 
                   OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS TO ENTER 
                   INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH ALTERNATIVE FUELS, 
                   INC. ("AFI") RELATIVE TO SALE AND OPERATION 
                   OF THE SUMMITT LANDFILL METHANE GAS SYSTEM.
                   
                   
                                                     
                   
                   
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, that the Administrator of the Department 
       of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to enter into an 
       agreement with Alternative Fuels, Inc. ("AFI") relative to sale 
       and operation of the Summitt Landfill Methane Gas System.
